HCMC second fastest growing city in Asia!
HCMC is the only non-Indian city in Top 5 growing cities across Asia. The average annual growth is expected to be almost 8%
In a recent study done by Oxford Economics, and citied in Bloomberg's article, HCMC will experience the second fastest GDP growth of all major Asian cities until 2021. Only Delhi will have better results than HCMC, followed by other Indian major cities such as Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The only othr city in Top 10 from ASEAN in Manila, being placed on the 10th spot.
Citing Bloomberg: "Ho Chi Minh was the only non-Indian city in the top five, reflecting the city's success in establishing itself as a manufacturing center, as well as its strong services sector."
