Da Nang's competitiveness
Da Nang is the most competitive city in Vietnam, fourth year in a row!
The Vietnam Provincial Competitive Index (PCI) is an annual report, published by the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The report evaluates local circumstances that affect investments, such as economic governance, administrative reforms and regulations.
According to the 11,600 participating companies (out of which 1,600 were foreign-owned), the Da Nang keepts its title as the easiest place in Vietnam to make an investment.
The PCI ranking has been published for the 12th time, whereof Da Nang occupied the top position 7 times. This year, Da Nang is followed by the northern province Quang Ninh on the second and the southern province Dong Thap on the third position. The country´s biggest cities Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are ranked 8th and 14th, respectively.
